june 2026

june, a pretty stable and regular month, the standouts being the closure of hot doughnut in partick, travelling to dumfries and back from armadale for a quest 2, and the prospect of a future hospital appoinment. photo is of the catholic side of a "peace wall" from my trip to belfast, showing the shared struggle between irish republicans and palestinians.

may 2026

may, a very busy month for me full of travel, first to aberdeen, bute, then belfast. it was quite a fun month but I mostly remember it from my air fryer chip era where I only ate homemade chips for a few days, trying to make my own chippy sauce and perfect chips, and the election, my first to vote in and a massive success for my party. photo is of annie from when we went to glasgow green in april during the heatwave.

april 2026

april, was a month I mainly remember for the nice weather, and a hospital appointment that really changed my mind about a lot of things and made everything feel clearer and like there was a path forwards. not an outstanding month in a good or bad way. photo is of a highland cow me and annie saw when we went to skye at the end of the month prior

march 2026

march, i've been feeling more of a december 2024 era, and music here is very much reflective of that maybe a sign of a better mood? who can say. the photo is of paddington at the peruvian embassy in london from my trip in february

february 2026

february, sort of all over the place, but i think that's not neccessarily bad, it's organisd in my own way. it's been quite a nice month so far with the london trip and aberdeen trip and party. the photo is of apples at costco, only because they share a name with the jack stauber short film "opal", which I think is great

january 2026

january, very arran month, musically. not sure how to describe it but very pure, didn't try much of a theme here i think 2026 feels like a scary year to me, so there's probably some artsy meaning there if you dig into it. the photo is of the crt monitor i got myself as a christmas treat with "bad apple" playing on it.
